Reaching beyond the industry standard, our team has experience in design-build projects and has been a key part of the building design consulting process. We can assist you by making recommendations for the mechanical layout of your construction project.

We constantly strive to build and preserve client and supplier relationships. With more than 35 Years of longevity in the mechanical construction business, we work collaboratively and efficiently with our suppliers based on a long history of success. This allows us to source the very best equipment for every requirement of your project.

Kal-West Mechanical Systems Inc. was started in October 1987 by John Davina. John set out to provide quality mechanical contracting services for Division 15 mechanical construction projects with the help of his talented team.

In November 2018, the business transitioned to a new employee ownership group who are determined to build upon Kal-West Mechanical’s reputation of quality and integrity.  This group consists of Keith Pearce, General Manager; Terry Smith (Journeyman plumber and licensed gas fitter), Superintendent; and John Defehr (Journeyman plumber and licensed gas fitter), Superintendent. John Davina continues to be involved in a consulting capacity.
